Regulating The Game

Regulating The Game brings Australian and international regulators and the sector together for an immersive 5-day program structured to build individual and organisational capability, deepen sector knowledge, and advance thinking and discussion about contemporary best practice gambling regulation.

The program is also designed to grapple with public policy challenges, cultivate curiosity and critical thinking, contest ideas, share insights and motivate an appetite for continuous improvement and regulatory and sector leadership.

We think it’s important that all stakeholders are engaged and active in the public square, contributing knowledge and insights, and hearing diverse perspectives to best inform public policy thinking and discussions, and help influence robust regulatory settings and approaches.

The program introduces expert content, but also encourages challenge and debate about sector issues, risks and opportunities, as well as critically examines regulatory policy and practice. The program positions attendees to understand and apply key regulatory principles, examine industry practices, engage with known and emerging issues, access emerging thinking and research, and help shape evidence based public policy discourse to advance efficient and effective gambling regulation.
