Alex is a Principal at Senet and leads the firms business advisory and compliance team. Prior to Senet, Alex held various senior advisory and strategy roles with KPMG Australia, KPMG Channel Islands and held senior strategy roles with leading international and domestic financial institutions including ANZ, Santander, Abbey National in retail, corporate and commercial divisions working in London, Jersey and Europe.
Alex works closely with clients assessing their end to end compliance and governance frameworks to help organisations reduce regulatory risk, be vigilant in relation to money laundering and to minimise gambling harm. Alex also provides a broad range of strategic and business advisory services leveraging her management consulting, project management and gambling industry expertise. Alex is very experienced at helping organisations to excel operationally by having the right frameworks in place that ensure compliance with their legal and regulatory obligations and at the same time, supporting their strategy and business development objectives.
Alex holds a Bachelor of Commerce, a post graduate Diploma in Market Modelling and Master of International Business from the University of Melbourne, where she finished in the top 3 of her class. Alex has also lectured in relation to AML/CTF at the University of Nevada Las Vegas (UNLV) - International Gaming Institute.
Alex is also a qualified company director through the Australian Institute of Company Directors. Alex also served as a Non-Executive Director on a Victorian public hospital board, appointed by the Victorian Minister of Health. Alex continues her work as a non-Executive director and is also a member of the International Association of Gaming Advisors.
